10 Tbs vegan butter, melted or soft (at room temperature). I used homemade coconut butter.
3/4 cup cane/whole
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour
2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 4 tbsp water (mix until it clumps together and looks like a beaten “egg”)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup of carob or cocoa powder
1/2 tsp of salt (if the butter does not have salt)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 340º F.
In a bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, salt and the “eggs” of flaxseed. Add the cocoa powder and mix. Add the flour and form a light dough. Add the chopped walnuts.
In a square or rectangular mold, put pastry paper to prevent the dough from sticking and to be able to completely remove the brownie once it is baked.
Put in the oven and let it cook for 30 minutes.
Let cool and cut into smaller squares.
Using pretzels, edible eyes and some red fruit, decorate each brownie giving them the shape of a reindeer.
