Put the flour in a container along with the salt and sugar and add the coconut oil. Mix with a fork, breaking up the oil and incorporating it with the flour until you obtain a “wet” flour, which resembles coarse sand.
Add the water little by little and form the dough with the same fork. Add enough water until the dough is at its point, neither dry nor wet. Avoid using your hands a lot so that the dough does not heat up.
Take half of the dough and spread it out between butter paper with a rolling pin, so it doesn't stick.
Place the extended dough on a pie pan and cut the excess dough from the sides. The dough should be about 1 inch thick.
On the other hand, mix the apples with the cinnamon, sugar and cornstarch until the apples are completely covered. Put this mixture inside the foot.
Using the rest of the dough, roll it out and cut into 1 inch-wide strips and “weave” over the foot; You can also put a full layer of dough on top, making holes with a fork or cutting some “grids” so that the filling can breathe while it is cooking.
Bake the pie in a preheated oven for 1 hour at 340º C.
Serve cold or warm with vanilla ice cream, if desired, and enjoy!
