Kale should be a relgular in every household, much more so if there are babies around! After all, we want them to grow healthy and strong don´t we?!

Kale is also very mild in flavour, making it a great addition to sweet and savory baby foods alike.

The combination of kale and quinoa is sure to be a power source for babies, kids and grown ups. You might want to make a big batch of this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 big kale leaf, without the stem, cut up in small pieces
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 apple

Preparation

  1. Blanch the kale in boiling water, by sumerging it in the water for about 30 seconds and then taking it out. 
  2. Blend  all the ingredients using a few teaspoons of the remaining boiling water and blend the ingredients together until smooth. 
  3. Serve warm.
