1 cup black beans plus 1 cup of their cooking liquid
1 cup cooked quinoa
1/4 cup ground chia
3 Tbs of oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 onion, finely chopped
seasonings to taste such as cumin, paprika , etc.
3-4 Tbs soy sauce
1/4 cup flour for arepa
Preparation
Sauté the garlic and onion in a little oil until they are crystal clear.
In the liquid of the beans, put the ground box so that it begins to agglutinate (It sets like jelly).
In a bowl, mix the beans, the onion with the garlic, the quinoa, the chia mixture, the dressings, the soy sauce and the oil.
At the end add the flour for arepa and form a dough. It should be like bread dough, neither dry nor wet. If necessary, add more arepa flour or more liquid from the black beans. Taste the salt, if necessary, add salt to taste.
Form the burgers and place them in a very hot frying pan with a few drops of oil. Let them brown on both sides and serve hot.
