Rice and Walnut Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup ground walnuts
  • 1 cup cooked black beans
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup flour of precooked corn or breadcrumbs

Preparation

  1. In a frying pan with a Tbs of oil, parboil the onion until it is transparent and has a rich aroma. 
  2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and grind until smooth.
  3. Form the hamburgers and fry them in a little oil on both sides.
  4. Serve with rice, salad or the accompaniment of your choice.
