In a large frying pan or Wok, place the garlic, ginger, oil and begin to fry. Almost immediately add the cabbage and carrot and start cooking until the cabbage sweats. Do not let it cook completely but it should be a little crispy.
Add the rice, soy sauce and turmeric; mix well. Serve warm.
