French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8-10 slices of bread
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 2 tablespoons of flaxseed
  • 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
  • 2 tablespoons almonds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cane sugar or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2-3 cups of water

Preparation

  1. In a blender, place the oatmeal,  sunflower seeds, almonds, and flaxseed. Grind everything dry until you get a flour (it will not be very fine).
  2. Add the salt, cane sugar, vanilla and water, and blend again until you get a light dough.
  3. Place the mixture in a medium bowl.
  4. Heat a frying pan or griddle and brush lightly with oil.
  5. Take the slices of bread and one by one, submerge them in the oatmeal mixture on both sides, immediately placing them in the hot pan.
  6. Cook each French toast on both sides until golden brown.
  7. Serve with your favorite topping!
