Ingredients
- 1/2 kl firm tofu
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 2 Tbs oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 4 Tbs soy sauce
- 1 Tbs lemon juice
- 1 Tbs of sugar
- 1 garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp finely grated ginger
- coriander leaves to decorate
- 1 red pepper cut into slices to decorate
- 1 sprig of chopped chives garnish
- 1 garlic chopped in slices fried to decorate
Preparation
- Cut the tofu into flat squares about 1/2 inch thick.
- On a flat plate put the sesame seeds and place the tofu squares on top of the sesame to completely cover them on both sides.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil slightly and then put the sesame-covered tofu to brown on each side until the sesame is slightly golden.
- In a small bowl mix sesame oil, sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, crushed garlic and ginger.
- Pour this sauce over the tofu on a serving plate, and garnish with the cilantro, chili pepper, and fried garlic. Serve immediately.
