Stuffed Dates

Ingredients

  • 12 pitted dates
  • 3 Tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 cup melted chocolate or carob bar, melted
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt, optional

Preparation

  1. Make a slit in each date to be able to open them exposing the middle in order to fill them.
  2. With a small teaspoon, put peanut butter insde each date.
  3. Using a fork, place each date inside the melted choclate to cover them and place in a wire rack for them to cool and the melted chocolate to harden.
  4. Sprinkle the dates with coarse salt if desired, and serve.
