Ingredients
- 10 Tbs vegan butter, melted or soft (at room temperature). I used homemade coconut butter.
- 3/4 cup cane/whole
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 4 tbsp water (mix until it clumps together and looks like a beaten “egg”)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup of carob or cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp of salt (if the butter does not have salt)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 340º F.
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, sugar, salt and the “eggs” of flaxseed. Add the cocoa powder and mix. Add the flour and form a light dough. Add the chopped walnuts.
- In a square or rectangular mold, put pastry paper to prevent the dough from sticking and to be able to completely remove the brownie once it is baked.
- Put in the oven and let it cook for 30 minutes.
- Let cool and cut into smaller squares.
- Using pretzels, edible eyes and some red fruit, decorate each brownie giving them the shape of a reindeer.
