Ingredients
- 3 ripe smashed bananas
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup of brown or cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts + 3 tablespoons
Preparation
- Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix the bananas with the sugar, oil, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add the flour plus the baking powder and mix until you get a light dough.
- Add the nuts and mix to incorporate.
- Put the dough in a greased loaf pan and place chopped nuts on top.
- Bake the bread for 50-60 minutes or until it is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean and dry.
