Put the cooked chickpeas with very little of their liquid in the blender.
Add the garlic, lemon juice, salt, tahini, and blend until very creamy.
Add a little olive oil little by little to help blend.
Serve immediately, with a little olive oil on top, paprika and chopped parsley to decorate.
Hummus is typically served with pita bread, but can be used in sandwiches, with fries, or in any way you like.
