Ingredients
- 1/4 kl of lentils
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 1 small white onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Preparation
- Cook the lentils alone in enough water (to cover them), until they are moderately soft.
- In a separate pot, fry the finely chopped garlic and onion in the olive oil.
- Add the peeled and diced potatoes as well as the sliced carrots and cover them with water to cook them to medium point.
- To the potatoes and carrots, add the lentils with almost none of their own liquid.
- Season with the salt and turmeric and cover until everything is smooth and thick, stirring periodically so that it does not stick and burn.
- Serve warm.
