Quince Jam

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Quince (peeled, chopped into small pieces)
  • 2 cups cane sugar

Preparation

  1. Cook the quince with the sugar until it changes color (it should be between reddish, pink and brown).
  2. Crush the quince until it is like a puree and continue cooking, mixing frequently so that it does not stick and burn.
  3. Once it is very thick, place the sweet in a greased glass container, until the next day to cool down and compact.
