Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups white wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar (you may use less if you want them less sweet)
- 1/4 cup chocolate or carob powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, chocolate and sugar by passing them all together through a sieve.
- Using a separate bowl, put all the liquid ingredients, and mix them until the oil emulsifies.
- Combine the two mixtures, the dry ingredients with the liquid ones and mix them lightly until they form a very smooth dough.
- Put the dough by tablespoons in cupcake liners placed in a cupcake/muffin mold.
- Put the cupcakes in the oven bake for 20 minutes. Let them cool to serve.
