Put the couscous in a glass or metal container.
Add the garlic, onion powder and salt.
Add the hot water, olive oil and sundried tomatoes.
Mix everything and cover the container so that it is sealed and no air enters. Steam must be kept inside.
After 5 minutes the couscous should have already absorbed the water and it should be puffed up and loose as if it were rice.
Loosen completely with a fork so it's ready to serve.
You can add chopped olives and serve it with a cooked vegetable on top, such as asparagus.
