Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsps onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 2 Tbs soy sauce
- 1 Tbs nutritional yeast (optional)
- 1/3 -2/3 cup of water
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp dehydrated parsley
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 340º C.
- Cut the cauliflower into large and medium pieces.
- Mix the first 9 ingredients (everything except the breadcrumbs and parsley) until there is a homogeneous mixture and not very thick, but not liquid either (add the water little by little and see consistency).
- In a separate bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the dehydrated parsley.
- Steam the cauliflower for only 2-3 minutes, only the exterior should be slightly soft.
- Take the pieces of cauliflower and pass them through the mixture of chickpea flour and spices and cover well all over their exterior. Then pass them through the breadcrumbs.
- On a tin covered with non-stick paper, place the breaded cauliflower pieces.
- Bake them for 25-30 minutes until they are golden and crispy. Serve with your favorite sauce!
